CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Support & Onboarding services on behalf of a Licensed Broker, we are seeking to recruit a Head of Back-Office to join their growing team based in Larnaca. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Back-Office operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and smooth functioning across various departments. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or another relevant field, who possess proven experience in back-office operations, preferably gained working in the FX, Cryptocurrency and/or Financial Services sectors. Working hours are from 09:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday, with the requirement for very occasional Weekend and Public Holiday work from home.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Back-Office team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
- Develop and implement Back-Office policies, procedures, and workflows to optimize efficiency and streamline operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to cryptocurrency and securities operations.
- Collaborate with other departments, including finance, compliance, legal, and technology, to support business objectives and initiatives.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance Back-Office processes and systems.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess departmental performance and drive continuous improvement.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business administration, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
- Proven experience in Back-Office operations, preferably in the FX, Cryptocurrency and/or Financial Services sectors.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
