CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established and rapidly expanding Group of Companies operating in the Real Estate sector across Cyprus and abroad, we are seeking to recruit a Real Estate Project Manager to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Real Estate Project Manager, you will be responsible for closely monitoring all construction and renovation activities onsite, including troubleshooting any issues with (sub)contractors. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or other related fields, who possess approximately 2+ years of proven working experience in a relevant role. Holders of the licence for professional engineers or members of ETEK are encouraged to apply, and fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English is a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for monitoring all construction and renovation activities onsite and troubleshoot any issues with (sub)contractors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules.
  • Identify the critical path and ensure that resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate favourable terms and contracts, and leverage bulk purchasing or long-term agreements to secure cost efficiencies and economies of scale.
  • Participate in the asset legalisation process and understand complex title deed reviews and verifications.
  • Perform regular inspections on sites and report on any deficiencies.
  • Provide advice and resolve any emerging problems/deficiencies.
  • Oversee and mentor team members and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.
  • Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, health & safety etc. and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
  • Develop ideas keeping in mind requirements, value engineering and environmental impact.
  • Understand detailed blueprints and make any necessary corrections.
  • Carry out technical and feasibility studies that satisfy technical specifications as well as assess design proposals.
  • Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals.
  • Perform cost control activities and compare the fees with the agreements signed as well as benchmark the overall market pricing concerning construction and renovations.
  • Ensure compliance with approved budget.
  • Perform any other assigned tasks as advised by the Management.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • University degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or another relevant field.  
  • 2-5 years of proven working experience as a Construction Project Manager or other relevant role is a must.
  • Proficiency in site layout, regulatory approvals etc...
  • Licence of professional engineer or member of ETEK is considered an advantage.
  • Ability to commute to project sites located throughout Cyprus, ensuring effective oversight and management of on-site activities.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English languages, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
