Job Title: Front desk Receptionist/ Guest relation manager
Location: Limassol, Cyprus
Job Description:
- The receptionist serves as the first point of contact for all guests in our organization. As such, the ideal candidate should be friendly, welcoming, patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. The satisfaction and comfort of each guest are our top priority, and the attitude and behavior of the hotel receptionist should always reflect this. If you have a talent for customer service and experience working in the hotel industry, we would love to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests as ambassadors of our hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests and assist them with check-in and check-out. Allocating guests to their rooms and providing keys.
- Maintain a positive attitude and friendly behavior. Respond to all guest questions and requests.
- Answering phones from prospective customers and guests.
- Manage guest bookings and reservations. Keep a tidy and orderly workspace.
- Completing administrative tasks such as filing and photocopying.
- Providing concierge services, such as arranging transportation and providing information about local amenities, attractions, and restaurants.
- Checking guests out, taking payments, and returning deposits.
- Dealing with guest complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Liaising with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are available for check-in.
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks. Manage online and phone reservations.
- Provide information about our building and amenities. Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate.
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
Requirements and skills:
- Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk, Receptionist, or similar role.
- Customer service and communication skills written and verbal.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience with hotel reservations software- advantage.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Knowledge of computer operating systems and MS Office software & general computer skills.
- Independent work and ability to work in a team. Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude under pressure.
- Service, courtesy, quick learning, ability to think out of the box, and good energy.
- Full-time long-term position, located in Limassol, Cyprus.
- English language (MUST), Any additional language, an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. A degree in hotel management is a plus.
