Financial Director (CFO)

Sigma Bakeries Ltd, based in Limassol, seeks to employ a dynamic and experienced Financial Director (CFO) for the conducting of effective risk management and implementation of its financial strategy.

The ideal candidate will be a natural leader, well-versed in all aspects of financial management as he/she will be overseeing all relevant departments of the company – from simple accounting to broader banking and investment activities – with the goal to achieve sustainable development and financial control.

Responsibilities:

• Development and improvement of accounting management.
• Responsible for the strict observance of accounting principles and registration of all company accounting transactions (quotes, purchases, invoices, deposits, collections etc.) and annual tax procedures.
• Preparation and review of financial reports, analyses, monthly/annual statements, budgets, and other financial analyses (revenue, expenses, sales, costs etc.) according to Management demands.
• Management and implementation of the company’s strategic plans and having an integral role in the planning process, providing advice based on forecasting, budgeting, and risk assessment.
• Creation, development and maintaining of strong working relationship with key stakeholders, partners, suppliers, and the accounting department team he/she leads.
• Other duties as defined by Management or in the ISO 9001:2015 quality systems procedures and instructions.

Preference will be given to candidates with the following qualifications:

• ACCA Chartered Accountant
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Financial Director (CFO) or in a similar position.
• At least 10 years’ total experience in an accounting office.
• In-depth knowledge or risk management practices and financial corporate law.
• Exceptional knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
• Adept in the handling of financial analyses and analytical thinking.
