Almond Recruitment, on behalf of a highly respected insurance brokerage company, are looking for an experienced Marine Insurance Broker who can contribute to their growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine insurance and will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of marine insurance clients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and fully licensed company looking to expand their operations.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with Clients for their insurance needs
• Liaising with underwriters and insurance market service providers as requested
• Responsible for Clients insurance placements, renewals, negotiations, day to day requirements and policy documents administration
• Review and analyse policy documents and advise and guide Clients on suitable insurance coverage, terms and conditions etc.
• Liaising with the various relevant departments (internal and external) for timely payment of premiums.
• Preparation of weekly internal reports
• Able to deal with deadlines and a fast-paced environment
• Able to meet clients and to travel
• Willingness and ability to take initiative
• Committed to professionalism and client service.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an insurance broker within the marine industry
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Excellent negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management skills
