SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

We are part of a reputable international professional services group, providing our services exclusively to an international clientele. We provide international company formations, trustee, management and administration services, advice on company law matters as well as accounting, tax compliance and arranging for audit by independent auditors. Our organisation has fully-fledged offices in Cyprus, UAE, Malta and associated offices worldwide.

We would like to recruit a Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. The successful candidate will join an energetic team and must be ambitious, deadline oriented and willing to grow with us.

Duties include:

• Maintenance of accounting records and general bookkeeping on a day-to-day basis;
• Preparation of Financial Statements as per IFRS;
• Liaison with external auditors, generate and provide audit supporting documentation as requested;
• Accounting entries, invoicing and reconciliations;
• Payments;
• Bank transfers and communication with banks;
• Posting of client bank movements;
• Posting of client invoices;
• Preparation and submission of VAT and VIES returns;
• Communication with suppliers / providers;

Requirements for the position:

• Preferably at least 2 years’ solid experience as a book-keeper or accountant;
• Good knowledge of Caseware accounting software;
• Fluent use of the Greek and English language – both oral and written;
• Excellent communication Skills;
• Strong IT skills;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines;
• Highly motivated with an eye for detail;
• A vibrant, energetic and confident personality;
• Good organisational skills;
• Residence in Nicosia;
