The Role

This role is part of the Revenue Assurance finance team, which ensures accurate accounting for revenue, cost of sales, and balance sheet amounts while implementing robust controls and providing analysis on ISX’s net revenue results.

As a Revenue Assurance Officer, you will ensure that all due revenue is realized across all products and services. Responsibilities include revenue assurance, reporting, advanced data analysis, leakage management, prevention, and business process changes. You will work with various stakeholders to prevent revenue leakage and embed root cause solutions.

You will collaborate with Product & Technology, Treasury, Finance, and Sales teams to understand customer entitlements and ensure effective revenue assurance activities. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, possess excellent communication skills, manage tight deadlines, be highly numerate, and have strong Excel skills, with proficiency in handling large and intricate data sets.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth audits, reconciliations, and risk assessments to proactively address revenue descrepancies and compliance issues, ensuring that our financial systems operate efficiently and securely. Key responsibilities include:

  • Review of contracts to ensure alignment with billing calculations commercial

  • Responsible for ownership of assigned end to end billing processes

  • Responsible for building accurate ,robust and complex excel based financial models

  • Maintenance and running of models used for billing complex billing revenue streams

  • Responsible for the design and implementation of billing models for new revenue streams

  • Ownership and resolution of billing queries within defined SLAs

  • Assisting more senior members of team with process improvements

  • Own the completeness and accuracy of manually calculated billing in the financial ledger

  • Manual preparation of invoices in Excel for multiple entities across multiple currencies

  • Preparation of partner commissions calculations and reporting

  • Support the Manager in developing the wider control environment surrounding Billing and revenue reporting

  • Any other activities as required for business needs

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years working experience within finance operations ( prior experience within Revenue Assurance team highly desirable)

  • Partly or fully qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA member or by experience within Finance Operations such as Revenue Assurance.

  • Highly numerate, with strong analytical skills and ability to work through problems logically

  • Exposure to audit ( highly desirable )

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel (required). Experienced in handling large datasets and building complex excel based models/ calculations

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Highly motivated and able to work towards timelines on multiple projects in a fast paced work environment
