CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a multi-billion-dollar single-family office operating from offices in Cyprus, London, Luxembourg, and New York with a long-history of successful investments in a wide-range of industries and sectors, we are seeking to recruit an Accounting Manager to join their growing team based in Limassol. As an Accounting Manager, you will work as part of an established Finance Team, performing various accounting and bookkeeping duties for the Cyprus operation as well as other entities within the Group. You will need to be a full member of the ACA/ACCA and possess approximately 4+ years of relevant experience, ideally gained working for a Top-Tier Audit & Accounting Firm or Fiduciary/Corporate Services provider. A highly attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Perform general accounting & bookkeeping duties as needed for Cyprus & other group companies (capital market transactions, Opex, payroll etc).
• Back-office function (reconciliation and posting of daily trades, cash reconciliations, interaction with Middle-Office to report breaks etc. ).
• Statutory reporting (preparation of financial statements and audit file).
• Management reporting (NAVs and other reports).
• Interaction with tax advisers (Income Tax + VAT).
• Financial analysis support on transactions and other projects.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Educated to degree level from a well-respected University.
• 4+ years of relevant experience, ideally gained working for a Top 4 Audit & Accounting Firm or Top-Tier Fiduciary/Corporate Services provider.
• Fully qualified, ACCA/ACA or equivalent.
• Strong IFRS background.
• Knowledge in tax compliance (VAT/Income Tax).
• Back-office experience is a strong plus but not a pre-requisite.
• Reporting and controlling background.
• Someone attracted by accounting functions with strong analytical skills.
• Highly motivated to work within an Investment firm.
• Knowledge of Navision or equivalent accounting system is a plus not essential.
• Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset.
