We are looking for a responsible and energetic person for the position of Assistant to the Financial Controller for our offices in Limassol.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable.

  • Accounts Receivable.

  • Knowledge of computerized government services (e.g., ΕΡΓΑΝΗ, GOV.CY, SIP, TAX PORTAL, TAXISNET)

  • Bank Reconciliations.

  • General Ledger entries.

  • Preparation of V.A.T. returns.

  • Preparation of Payrolls.

  • Fixed Asset related work.

  • Monthly Management & Financial Reporting.

  • Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts.

  • Liaison with Software & Hardware providers to resolve problems and to implement improvements.

  • Other work as required.

Requirements:

  • Good organizational and analytical skills.

  • Good communication (especially with government and municipal departments)

  • Computerized accounting knowledge essential.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.

  • Accounting knowledge to Balance Sheet stage essential.

  • IT knowledge will be considered an advantage.

  • Good knowledge of Greek and English.

  • Possession of an accounting qualification (LCC Higher, CAT, AAT or equivalent) with at least 5 years experience in similar position or an accounting degree with at least 3 years experience.

The company will offer an annual salary range between €22,000 and €23,500 with optimal working conditions to the ideal candidate.
