CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and respected provider of industrial equipment to the HoReCa industry across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Refrigeration Technician to join their growing team headquartered in Limassol. As a Refrigeration Technician for you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems and components, in particular commercial refrigeration units onsite for clients across Cyprus. You will ideally be a Technical School Graduate, and will need to posses proven experience with the installation and maintenance of refrigeration appliances. Fluency in Greek is a must, and you will need to hold a current, clean driver’s licence, with the ability to drive a manual gearbox.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Install new refrigeration systems and components, including compressors, evaporators, condensers, and piping.
• Perform regular maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect systems and components for leaks, electrical issues, and wear and tear.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with refrigeration systems using specialized tools and equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts, including motors, compressors, and controls.
• Recharge systems with refrigerant as needed.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Ideally a Technical School Graduate.
• Previous experience in refrigeration repair and maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Fluency in Greek, and knowledge of English will be considered an advantage.
• Holder of a current driver’s licence, with the ability to drive a manual gearbox.
