CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established provider of Audit, Tax, Accounting and Advisory Services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Junior Accountant, you will primarily be responsible for providing a range of accounting and bookkeeping services to both local and international clients of the Firm. You should be educated to degree level in a relevant field, and have either started, or be willing to commence the ACA/ACCA qualification. Any previous experience in a relevant position is highly desirable, although full training will be provided. Our client offers an attractive remuneration and benefits package, as well as the opportunity for ACCA sponsorship.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Bookkeeping for local and international clients.
• Preparation and submission of VAT and VIES reporting.
• Recording of sales and purchases and performing reconciliation of debtors and creditors.
• Any other relevant duties as assigned by Management.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• University degree in a relevant field e.g. Accounting, Finance, Economics or LCCI diploma.
• Will start or have recently started ACCA/ACA qualification courses.
• Prior work experience is not a prerequisite, but will be considered as an advantage.
• Fluent in written and spoken Greek and English.
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Pleasant personality.
