The Client:

On behalf of our client, a top-rated professional services firm who offers Administrative, Accounting, Tax and Advisory services, we are actively looking to recruit a motivated and experienced Officer Compliance Department.

The Role:

The Officer Compliance Department will report to the Head of the Compliance department. He/she will be part of the Compliance Team handling client Due Diligence, reviewing client Economic Profiles, performing transaction monitoring and record keeping.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performing Anti Money Laundering (AML) Compliance reviews such as Client on-boarding / ongoing Client Due Diligence (CDD) & Know Your Client (KYC) reviews and keeping the relevant records on files (electronic and hard copy)

• Performing client background checks (screening)

• Reviewing and monitoring customers’ transaction, including outward and inward transaction, deposits, or withdrawals, and reporting the results, findings, and pending matters to the Head of the Compliance Department

• Assist with the maintenance of the registers of the Compliance Department and ensuring their completeness and accuracy

• Assist with the reporting obligations of the department

• Other departmental duties as assigned by the Head of the department and other Firm-wide duties as assigned by the Management

Qualifications/Skills:

• University Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Law or other related field

• Solid experience with AML in a regulated organisation (preferably ASP) of 3-5 years

• Good understanding of the financial services industry and practices

• Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages, both oral and written

• Good level of proficiency with MS Office applications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills

• Organised, diligent, critical thinking and able to pay attention to detail

• Respond to queries on a timely manner

Location:

The position is for the Client's offices in Nicosia.
