CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Group of Companies that provides a range of services including Accounting & Bookkeeping predominantly to the Forex industry, we are seeking to recruit a Treasury Officer to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Treasury Officer, you will primarily be responsible for monitoring daily cash flow and liquidity to ensure sufficient funds are available for operational and capital requirements. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or another relevant field, who possess approximately 2+ years of previous experience working in a relevant role within the Forex and/or Financial Services sectors. You will need to be fluent in both verbal and written English, and possess advanced skills with MS Excel. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor daily cash flow and liquidity to ensure sufficient funds are available for operational and capital requirements.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage short-term and long-term cash planning.
  • Manage intercompany cash flows and handle foreign exchange transactions.
  • Monitor the performance of investment portfolios and report on returns and risks.
  • Oversee the execution of treasury transactions, including payments, transfers and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of treasury-related accounting and reporting.
  • Prepare regular treasury reports, including cash flow statements, and budget management reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits related to treasury activities.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

 

  • BSc Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics.
  • 2-4 years of previous experience in a similar position in treasury, finance, or a related within the Forex industry.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English is a must.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Proficient in financial software and MS Office/Excel is a must.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
