CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a leading provider of Audit, Accounting & Tax related services to a wide range of clientele, we are seeking to recruit a Human Resources Officer to join their growing team based in Limassol. Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for a wide range of HR related duties, including actively participating in the recruitment and selection process of the firm, supporting the employee onboarding process, as well as actively participating in employee training and development activities. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or similar, who possess approximately 2+ years of previous experience in a relevant HR role. Fluency in verbal and written Greek & English is essential. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in the recruitment and selection process of the firm, by preparing job descriptions, posting adverts and managing the hiring process lifecycle (including participating in career fairs, conducting presentations, participating in promotional activities and external recruitment).
  • Actively participate in the employee onboarding procedures.
  • Maintain employees’ database and records, according to internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Actively participate in employee training and development activities and procedures.
  • Deal with staff welfare and administration-centered activities.
  • Develop, implement and review policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management.
  • Handle daily administration of the office and assist in various projects.
  • Provide support to other departments if needed.
  • Any other ad hoc duty that might be required from time to time.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • University degree in Business Management, Human Resources Management or any other relevant degree.
  • A relevant postgraduate degree will be considered an advantage.
  • Approximately 2+ years of experience working in Human Resources.
  • Any relevant training courses or credentials (e.g. CIPD) in Human Resources will be considered as a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of Cyprus Employment Law.
  • Fluency in both English and Greek language.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
