Demstar Business Solutions Ltd, a well-established provider of technology solutions and services in Cyprus, is seeking a capable Networking & Cyber Security Solutions Engineer to join their high-caliber professional team in Nicosia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with the Networking & Security Solutions promoted by the company, focusing on the design, implementation and support of such solutions.

Main Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, supporting, testing, and auditing IT networking and security solutions implementations
• Participating in the study and evaluation of new networking and security-related products and solutions
• Analysing security issues and logs to understand various system problems
• Consulting customers on Networking & Security Strategy
• Assessing and analyzing networking vulnerabilities and developing strategies to mitigate risks
• Configuring and optimizing networking performance, ensuring high availability and reliability
• Maintaining deep technical and business knowledge of networking, cyber security solutions, applications, industry directions, and trends
• Contributing to the achievement of necessary professional certifications through training and development of the engineering team, securing the delivery of exceptional services
• Collaborating with the management team, selected partners, and vendors to set technical standards and strategic direction, and providing ideas for new solutions and services
• Assisting the engineer manager in assigning resources to open customer support calls and in providing help in technical, financial, and HR matters

Requirements

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT Networks & Security, or in any Information Technology related field
• Holder of at least one certification like CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent
• Holder of the HPE Aruba network certification will be a valuable asset
• Certified with any other security or networking vendors (e.g. Barracuda, Palo, Alto) will be a
  plus
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a networking engineering role specializing in IT security
• Experience with:
  • Network Protocols (such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP)
  • Operating Systems
  • Security Tools and Solutions
  • Cisco Switches and Routers
  • Aruba Switches and Wireless
  • Unifi Wireless
  • Web Application Firewall technologies and deployment methodologies
• Willingness for continuous learning and personal development
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English languages

Remuneration

A very attractive and competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, according to qualifications and applicable experience including:

• Annual Gross Salary up to €45.000 per annum (payable in 13 salaries)
• Discretionary yearly bonus based on personal and the company’s performance
• Provident Fund with a profit-sharing deposit every year subject to annual profitability results
• Working hours 8:15 – 17:30 (Monday – Thursday) and 8:15 – 13:00 on Fridays
