Demstar Business Solutions Ltd, a well-established provider of technology solutions and services in Cyprus, is seeking an ambitious Microsoft & Infrastructure Solutions Support Engineer to join their high-caliber professional team in Nicosia.

The successful candidate will join the Infrastructure Solutions Engineering Team and will be responsible for providing infrastructure solutions and support services.

Main Responsibilities

• Be a member of the Infrastructure and Microsoft Solutions Team, under the supervision of the Team’s Leader
• Providing Microsoft on prem and on cloud solutions support, with a good knowledge of Microsoft Networking Solutions, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 support.
• Working as a member of the Infrastructure Solutions Engineering Team, having the responsibility of addressing and processing the daily support calls from our customers, providing support services, resolving problems, and providing solutions to customer calls.
• Presenting a good knowledge of Microsoft Networking Solutions, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 support capabilities.
• Working as a member of the infrastructure solutions Engineering Team and having the responsibility of addressing and processing the daily support calls from our customers, following the policies and procedures of the support team
• Contributing positively to the working environment by showing a creative team culture
• Be positive to follow continuous training and development paths, contributing to the achievement of partner-specific and professional certifications
• Collaborating with the management team, selected partners, and vendors to fulfil certification and other partnership requirements.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Engineering, or in any Information Technology related field
• Knowledge of the basics of IT networking principles
• Proven knowledge of Microsoft networking solutions, Active Directory, management of PCs & workstations as part of a Microsoft network, LAN/ WAN /Internet connectivity
• Holder of a Microsoft certification related to AD administration or O365 /M365 administration is highly desirable
• A good knowledge of PCs & peripherals support as part of a Windows AD environment
• Good knowledge of messaging solutions installation and support, knowledge of O365 solutions management and support
• Knowledge of HPE Hardware solutions (Servers & Storage) will be considered as an advantage
• Knowledge of virtualization solutions with VMware or Hyper-V will be considered an advantage
• Willingness for continuous learning and personal development
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English languages

Remuneration

A very attractive and competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, according to qualifications and applicable experience including:

• Annual Gross Salary up to €30.000 per annum (payable in 13 salaries)
• Discretionary yearly bonus based on personal and the company’s performance
• Provident Fund with a profit-sharing deposit every year subject to annual profitability results
• Working hours 8:15 – 17:30 (Monday – Thursday) and 8:15 – 13:00 on Fridays
