Currently, bbf: is expanding the internal team, and we are looking for a Junior Cost Controller to join our Financial Department.

Responsibilities:

Project Costs & Budgeting Control

• Control project costs and budgeting,
• Analyze variances in forecasted profits and expenses,
• Allocate costs to categories,

Data Management & Reporting

• Gather, validate, and incorporate data into project cost reports,
• Document changes in project scope or contracts,
• Prepare cash outflows and other financial projections,

Construction Progress & Issue Resolution

• Document construction progress,
• Identify, track, and assist in the resolution of construction issues/conflicts,
• Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure proper cost reporting and control,

Financial Coordination

• Align cost reports with financial statements and schedules in coordination with the Accounting department,
• Verify invoices from contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers,
• Process and control Payment schedules and Payment Approvals.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering QS, or similar field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cost control, accounting, or similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP Business One is as advantage.
• Strong time management skills; ability to plan and manage multiple site priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Greek and English.
