CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a progressive and expanding CySEC regulated investment firm with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Data Analyst to join their growing team. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for compiling and analyzing business critical data, as well as developing clear visualizations to convey complicated data in a straightforward fashion. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or another closely related field, and hold a minimum of 2+ years of relevant professional experience. Prior experience working with tools and technologies including MS Power BI, SQL, MS Excel and other products/processes essential to a BI environment are a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Compile and analyze data.
• Develop clear visualizations to convey complicated data in a straightforward fashion.
• Actively involved in creating captivating dashboards and reports using Microsoft’s Power BI.
• Dive into our databases, optimize queries, and extract valuable information.
• Translate data into actionable business inputs for strategic decision-making.
• Learn and understand data resources and prepare them for analytical usage.
• Design, develop and deploy business intelligence solutions.
• Communicate with Management at all levels to ensure progress and development of the existing BI system and its improvement.
• Define analytical approaches and metrics strategies to uncover new insights and formulate recommendations that improve productivity.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science or a related field.  
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar position is a must.
• Experience working with tools and technologies including MS Power BI is a must.
• Proficiency in SQL is essential.  
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Exemplary communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Good knowledge of English, both verbal and written.
