Job Description:

As a Tele Sales Representative for our Cyprus-based wholesale food company, you will be responsible for driving sales and building strong relationships with clients from the UK. Your primary focus will be to reach out to potential and existing customers in the UK and understand their wholesale food requirements, and provide tailored solutions from our extensive product range. You will play a critical role in expanding our customer base and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Generation: Proactively make outbound calls to new and existing clients to promote and sell our wholesale food products. Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring repeat business by providing exceptional service and understanding their business needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of our product offerings, including seasonal items, and be able to effectively communicate the benefits and features to customers.
  • Market Research: Identify potential new markets and customers within the wholesale food sector. Understand industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Order Processing: Accurately process orders, ensuring that all customer requirements are met, and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide support with a focus on maintaining long-term customer relationships.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-ups using CRM software. Prepare regular reports on sales performance.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, marketing department, and other relevant teams to share insights and strategies for improving sales performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: Proven experience in telesales, preferably within the wholesale food or FMCG sector.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to persuade and negotiate effectively.
  • Customer-Oriented: Strong focus on customer satisfaction and relationship building.
  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Self-motivated with a competitive drive.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, with strong attention to detail.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the UK wholesale food market and familiarity with the products and challenges within the sector.
  • Education: A-levels or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
