Are you a skilled Property Valuer looking for your next career move? This is a great opportunity to join our Premises & Valuations Department. As a Property Valuer you will be responsible for reviewing external valuations, prepare internal valuations and provide advisory services. Ready for the challenge?
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation of studies, assessments, information statements and presentations regarding the real estate market.
- Prepare valuations on specific properties and internal assessments.
- Perform valuation reviews of collaterals and own properties to ensure the accuracy and reliability of valuations.
- Prepare reports for recommendations to be submitted to the Committees and the Management Team.
- Perform on-site inspections of all types of properties as needed.
- Provide support to other departments relating to valuation reports and valuation procedures.
- Manage the list of all properties that are handled for IFRS purposes or for any other internal projects and process coordination.
ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Property Valuation, Real Estate Management or other related field.
- Master’s degree in the above areas will be considered an advantage.
- Member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber Cyprus (ETEK) as ‘Land Valuer’.
- Full Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
- At least 3 years of professional experience in property valuations in real estate / advisory valuation services.
- Deep knowledge and experience of the real estate market and related disciplines.
- Understanding market trends, values and factors that affect real estate prices.
- Familiarity with all current industry’s regulations, rules, and standards.
- Structured and critical thinking.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Team player and ability to think through solutions with others.
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
- Ability to manage time, workload, and multiple tasks.
- Self-driven, ability to take initiatives and make decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in both Greek & English.
