On behalf of our client, we are seeking for a dynamic and experienced Membership and Marketing Manager to join our team. This role is crucial to the success of the clubs marketing efforts, requiring a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and hands on management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns that promote the club's commercial products and services, including hospitality, ticketing, retail, memberships, and non-matchday events.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Management:
    Serve as the gatekeeper for the club's annual marketing campaign calendar, ensuring all campaigns are communicated effectively across the club and are delivered on brand across all touchpoints.
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of fully integrated marketing campaigns, including the use of digital, social media, and traditional marketing tools.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on the performance of all campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    Work closely with multiple departments within the club to align marketing activities with overall club objectives and ensure shared goals are met.
  • Communicate campaign plans and updates effectively across the business, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Creative and Analytical Skills:
    Bring creativity and attention to detail to all marketing projects, ensuring campaigns are engaging and on brand.
  • Utilize strong analytical and research skills to inform marketing strategies and campaign decisions, ensuring maximum impact and return on investment.
  • Flexibility and Pressure Management:
    Be prepared to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and matchdays, as required by the club.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, working well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Safeguarding and Compliance:
    Adhere to the club's Safer Recruitment processes and ensure safeguarding of children and adults at risk. For some roles, a satisfactory enhanced disclosure may be required prior to starting in a role at the club.

What We Are Looking For:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar product marketing role, with a strong understanding of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to create, manage, and deliver marketing campaigns using a full range of marketing tools and channels.
  • Strong knowledge of digital and social media best practices, marketing insights, and brand management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Creative thinking with a keen eye for attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and research skills to drive campaign effectiveness.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a sports or entertainment environment.
  • Familiarity with systems and marketing automation tools.
