We are searching for an enthusiastic and committed Group Head of Internal Audit to join our dynamic team at HFM.
Your role at HFM:
- Develop and execute independent quality assessments of internal audit activities through consistent applications of methodologies and professional standards.
- Assist with annual audit planning, enabling the relevant departments to prioritise and allocate resources.
- Identify and assess potential risks to the organization.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business processes and recommend improvements to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify areas for process improvement.
- Act as a technical resource to educate teams regarding professional standards and how suggested changes will improve results.
- Conduct training sessions to increase awareness of internal controls and requirements.
- Foster a culture of ethical behaviour and accountability within the organization.
- Maintain accurate and organized audit reports and documentation in a clear and concise format.
- Summarizing all findings and recommendations to communicate the results to the shareholders and provide actionable insights.
- Maintain effective networks outside of company with professional organizations to stay abreast of industry trends and developments.
- Actively participate in special projects and department initiatives from an audit perspective, where required.
What You Bring:
- University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar field.
- Professional Certifications in ACCA/ACA and/or CIA are highly desired.
- 5+ years’ experience in a managerial role.
- Experience within a regulated company on a global scale is a must.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with high attentiveness to detail.
- Ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information.
EU/EFTA citizens OR holders of a Cyprus work permit OR foreign nationals married to an EU citizen.
