As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Fleet and Driver Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:
The Fleet and Driver Manager will oversee the daily operations of our fleet, including vehicle maintenance, driver supervision, and the coordination of truck loading activities. This role will ensure the efficient and timely transportation of goods, the safety and compliance of the fleet, and optimal performance of both drivers and vehicles. The ideal candidate should have experience in logistics, fleet management, and driver supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the activities of drivers and fleet vehicles to ensure timely deliveries and efficient routing.
• Supervise and guide drivers to ensure they follow proper procedures for loading, transporting, and delivering freight.
• Monitor the safe and accurate loading of trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution, securing of cargo, and compliance with industry standards.
• Plan and implement efficient driver schedules, routes, and dispatching to maximize productivity and minimize delivery delays.
• Ensure drivers are properly trained, certified, and adhere to all safety and loading protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and loading processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations and optimal operational conditions.
• Maintain vehicle compliance, including maintenance schedules, safety inspections, and regulatory documentation.
• Collaborate with logistics, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure smooth coordination of loading, scheduling, and deliveries.
• Address and resolve operational emergencies, vehicle breakdowns, or accidents promptly and efficiently.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fleet management, logistics, transportation, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, fleet tracking systems, and driver management.
• Knowledge of safe loading practices, weight distribution, and securing freight.
• ForkLift License
• A valid professional driver’s license; additional certifications in fleet management or logistics are a plus.

• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate a team of drivers.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick, effective decisions.
• Proficiency in fleet management software and logistics planning tools.
• Strong understanding of transportation laws, loading regulations, and safety standards.
