We are seeking a highly skilled Factory Manager to oversee and optimize production processes in our bottling plant.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily production operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and production schedules.
• Monitor and optimize production processes to maximize output while minimizing waste and ensuring product quality.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production supervisors, technicians, and line workers.
• Provide guidance and support to ensure a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and enforce quality control measures to meet and exceed industry standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to identify and address any production issues.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee raw material procurement, stock levels, and inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials.

Maintenance and Equipment Management:

• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules for production equipment and machinery.
• Address equipment breakdowns promptly and liaise with maintenance teams for repairs.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and environmental standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure and accident-free work environment.

Cost Control and Budgeting:

Monitor production costs, analyse budget variances, and implement cost-saving initiatives. Collaborate with finance and operations teams to maintain budgetary targets. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency enhancements. Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to streamline operations and improve productivity. Reporting and Documentation: Generate and analyse production reports, KPIs, and performance metrics. Maintain accurate records of production data, quality control reports, and incident logs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in a managerial role within a bottling plant or similar manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of bottling processes, production equipment, and quality control systems.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
