Almond Recruitment, on behalf of our client, a highly respected legal firm are currently hiring for an Accountant to join their team in Limassol. This will be an initial 8-month contract covering maternity, with a possibility of becoming a permanent role later. The successful candidate should have previous experience in client accounting in Cyprus and will be joining a well-established and extremely professional company.

Responsibilities

• Accounting and Bookkeeping of multicurrency and multi-company accounting entries and adjustments
• Meeting of internal and external deadlines such as VAT, VIES, reports
• General administrative duties relating to accounting work
• Preparation of VAT returns and VAT handling on a local and European level
• Accustomed to using E-Banking
• Payroll execution and calculation
• Invoicing and Credit Control
• Creating and maintaining accurate financial reports and preparation of management reports.
• Budgets and financial forecasts.
• Preparation of company accounts for annual audits.

Requirements

• Previous experience in client accounting
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Greek
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work as a part of a team and liaise with the company’s other departments
• Computer Literacy
• Strong Attention to detail
• Knowledge of E-Soft is an advantage
