CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a specialist Consulting company offering administrative support services, primarily within the Cryptocurrency and Digital Asset industries, we are seeking to recruit a Blockchain Research Analyst to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Blockchain Research Analyst, you will primarily be responsible for collecting and analysing qualitative and quantitative data, as well as monitoring core blockchain metrics. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related field, who possess previous experience working with agile methodologies and a delivery-focused mindset. The successful candidate will need to have a proven interest in blockchain technology, possess excellent analytical skills, and be proficient in data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, and NoSQL. Familiarity with EVM-compatible networks, the Solidity programming language, and smart contracts is essential, and experience with data visualization libraries in Python (e.g., matplotlib, plotly) or data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau) is highly desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Validate company's reward distribution system and shared fee model.
  • Monitor core blockchain metrics (validator performance, transaction processing, user engagement).
  • Conduct user experience research on our onboarding process and interface design.
  • Analyze the impact of staking vs. token utilization on rewards and network health.
  • Evaluate performance and adoption of cross-chain bridging functionality.
  • Analyze smart contract interactions and their ecosystem impact.
  • Identify user behavior trends to inform development decisions.
  • Prepare concise, actionable reports on research findings.
  • Collaborate across teams to contextualize blockchain data within broader frameworks.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or related field.
  • Experience working with agile methodologies and a delivery-focused mindset.
  • Proven interest in blockchain technology (certifications, projects, or relevant experience).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, and NoSQL.
  • Excellent research and information synthesis abilities.
  • Solid understanding of blockchain concepts and decentralized systems.
  • Advanced degree in a field applicable to blockchain research.
  • Familiarity with EVM-compatible networks, Solidity language and smart contracts.
  • Experience with data visualization Python libraries (matplotlib, plotly) or data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau).
  • Understanding of economic principles and tokenomics.
  • Background in user experience research or A/B testing.
  • Experience working in start ups or other crypto projects.
  • Clear communication skills, able to explain complex ideas simply in writing and in English.
  • Self-starter and autodidactic with a growth mindset and passion for emerging tech.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
