The position
The Reservations and Sales coordinator is responsible for the group reservations and sales activities of the museum such as everyday phone calls and communication with schools, companies and birthday parties organisation.His/ Her accountabilities will include outbound and inbound group sales tactics, ensuring a smooth booking experience for the groups’ visitors.
Main Responsibilities
Organize the sales database
Outbound communication to potential leads (school, educational organizations, etc) to secure sales targets
Inbound communication and reservations handling through company’s digital booking platform
Build and maintain clientele through sales calls, emails, visits etc.
Coordinate group visits to the museum, including scheduling, logistics, catering and payment processing
Work with museum staff to develop and implement group programs and tours that meet the needs and interests of different groups
Conduct post-visit evaluations and surveys to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
Maintain accurate records and databases of group visitation, including attendance, revenue, and other metrics
Participate in museum events and programs as needed, representing the museum to the public and promoting group visitation.
Assist at the museum's marketing efforts, including creating and distributing promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, and newsletters
Respond to online reviews of the museum, both positive and negative, in a timely and professional manner, addressing concerns and highlighting positive feedback
Skills
Be sales and customer-oriented, team-spirited with positive attitude.
Excellent PC use in Windows environment. (Word, Excel, Power Point)
English fluent both written & spoken
Familiar with Social Media
