CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Cyprus based B2B company which provides clients with a broad range of Bookkeeping, Accounting and Payroll related services, we are seeking to recruit a Finance Supervisor to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Finance Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and overseeing the full cycle of the financial aspects of the Company, as well as the provision of insights to the company’s Management. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Finance or any other related field, and holders of any accounting qualifications are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess proven experience gained working in a relevant role, with an excellent understanding of financial reporting standards. An advanced knowledge of MS Office, including Excel is a must, as well as fluency in both verbal and written English. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Prepare and analyse financial reports, statements, and projections to provide insights into the organization's financial status.
  • Assist in the development, monitoring, and updating of budgets to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Liaise with other departments, vendors, and clients to address financial inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and procedures.
  • Provide support for financial planning, forecasting, and strategy development.
  • Managing and monitoring budgets.
  • Overseeing and reviewing business plans from the financial perspective.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

 

  • BSc in Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Finance or any other related field.
  • Holders of any relevant accounting qualifications are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience in a similar position is a must.   
  • Excellent understanding of financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, including Excel.
  • Experience of working with accounting software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English is must.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.
  • Detail oriented with strong time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
  • Collaborative, work-ethical and positive personality.
