CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Financial Technology solutions and services to the iGaming & Online Casino industries, we are seeking to recruit a Data Engineer to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Data Engineer you will dive deep into structured data to uncover key insights that drive business success. Your core focus will be crafting and optimizing SQL queries to analyze gaming metrics and inform decision-making across the Company. An academic background in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field is desirable, and proficiency with SQL and database management is essential. Prior experience in the iGaming industry will be considered a significant advantage, as well as familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Work with structured data to track and analyze key gaming metrics.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract business-relevant data.
• Analyze critical metrics like Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR), player activity, bonus usage, and churn rate.
• Document your findings and query logic with clarity.
• Collaborate with data and business teams to provide precise, actionable insights.
• Prepare and present data reports to stakeholders, offering insights that make a difference.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across multiple sources.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field is desirable.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management (pgAdmin, DBeaver, or similar tools).
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with multiple data tables (players, transactions, games, bets).
• Ability to interpret large datasets and deliver actionable insights.
• Great communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Previous experience in iGaming or a similar data analytics role will be considered a plus.
• Knowledge of iGaming metrics like GGR, net deposits, bonus usage, and player behaviour will be considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a bonus.
