Data Analyst – Limassol

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Collect, process and record large sets of data from diverse sources, ensuring comprehensive and accurate data acquisition.
• Design, maintain, and monitor databases to support efficient and accurate data analysis.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to uncover meaningful insights and drive business decisions.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that effectively communicate key business metrics.
• Reconcile and evaluate data from multiple sources, resolving discrepancies to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Identify trends and patterns within the data to support strategic forecasting and planning activities and present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear, compelling, and actionable manner.
• Design, implement, and monitor trading system processes, ensuring system availability and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Recommend and implement enhancements to existing data analysis processes and tools to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• tay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics to continuously improve capabilities and expertise.

Main requirements:

• BSc/MSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Physics or any other relevant field.
• At least one year of hands-on relevant experience
• Knowledge of relational database technology, SQL and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as R, Python, MATLAB, or similar.
• Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Power BI or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Greek and English language.
