Role Overview:

The Multimedia Production Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of media production at the University of Limassol's newly established podcast studio. This individual will manage videography, audio recording, and editing for podcasts as well as support various multimedia projects across the Marketing Department’s digital initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a creative approach to digital content and possess strong technical skills in video production, sound design, and post-production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage audio and video equipment for podcasts and other multimedia projects.

• Record, edit, and produce high-quality video and audio content for a variety of platforms (podcasts, social media, website, etc.).

• Collaborate with the Marketing Department to develop multimedia content that supports university campaigns and initiatives.

• Manage post-production activities including audio mixing, color grading, and video editing.

• Ensure all multimedia content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains consistent quality across platforms.

• Assist with live streaming and virtual events.

• Stay updated on new trends and technologies in multimedia production to continually enhance output quality.

• Provide creative input to enhance storytelling, content delivery, and audience engagement through digital media.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Production, Film, Digital Media, or a related field.

• Proven experience in videography, sound recording, and editing, preferably in a professional setting.

• Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition).

• Strong knowledge of camera equipment, sound recording tools, lighting techniques, and post-production processes.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with motion graphics and animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).

• Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with social media platforms.

• Experience in live event production or live streaming.
