Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort is seeking to recruit a Technician – Maintenance Department.

Responsibilities:

• Preventive maintenance and repairs of electromechanical, plumbing, heating and ventilation systems and installations according to his major skills and the annual maintenance plan.
• Preventive maintenance and repairs of the fire alarm and fire suppression systems in cooperation with any external subcontractors.
• React efficiently and effectively to issues reported by the guests and other departments.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Technical Manager and/or his assistant.
• Keeps his working area always clean and tidy.
• Follow up the stock of spare parts and materials in the maintenance store and inform the Technical manager and/or his assistant about low stocks.
• Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with colleagues and other departments within the Hotel.
• Follow health and safety standards and regulations at all times during the execution of his duties.
• Understand and comply with all policies and internal regulations of the hotel.
• Understands and participate/comply with the Fire Safety and Emergency Procedures of the hotel.
• Takes part in departmental and hotel meetings.
• Participates in training/seminars for improvement of skills and knowledge.
• Contribute with his best effort to the successful and smooth operation of the hotel.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a Technician (preferably for 4-5* hotel) OR previous experience as a plumber/electrician/air conditioning technician in the construction sector.
• Knowledge of machines, tools and other equipment including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing etc.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, resourceful with excellent attention to detail.
