As the HR Manager, you will oversee the well-being of the workforce, ensuring the organizational structure is optimized, and align HR strategies with the company’s overall goals. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other closely related fields, who possess proven experience in a relevant role. You will need to hold a strong understanding of local employment law and HR best practices, and be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the full staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new employees at all levels, including trainees and interns.
  • Ensure the organization’s compliance with local employment laws, keeping all relevant agreements, documents, and files up to date with regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor staff performance and attendance, advising on disciplinary actions, and conduct bi-yearly performance appraisals.
  • Analyse statistical data and reports to identify causes of personnel issues and recommend improvements to personnel policies and practices. Use performance management tools to guide and support team development.
  • Work closely with the Accounting and IT departments to approve invoices, handle salaries, manage entry-exit forms, update personal information forms, issue access cards, and provide IT equipment for new employees, including cost reimbursements.
  • Maintain and process payroll, collaborate with internal accounts for end-of-month payroll preparation, handle adjustments, and resolve any payroll-related issues or clarifications.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on the career page, internal and external events, corporate social responsibility activities, and company culture initiatives.
  • Work with line managers to motivate, guide, and resolve team performance issues.
  • Investigate employee conflicts and provide resolution support, ensuring a healthy and productive work environment.
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures, assisting team members in staying aligned with organizational standards. Collaborate with line managers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations from a people perspective.
  • Administer the company CRM, assisting colleagues with access and permissions.
  • Support employees with career development activities, including seminars, conferences, and other opportunities for growth and advancement.
  • Handle confidential information with integrity and in accordance with the highest standards of trust and professionalism.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Ideally educated to degree level in Human Resources, Business Administration, or another relevant field.
  • Proven experience in Human Resources Management.
  • Strong understanding of local employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset, with a focus on teamwork and employee development.
  • Fluency in both the Greek and English languages.
