About the Role

Are you always online, keeping up with the latest social media trends, viral moments, and cultural shifts? Do you have a sharp eye for what’s relevant, and can you turn insights into high-impact brand content?

We’re looking for a Social Media & Trends Specialist to help shape our brands’ presence in Southern Africa. Based in Nicosia, you’ll work closely with the Creative Director to source trends, analyze market behavior, and create relevant, high-impact content. You don’t need to be an expert in these markets—but you need to know how to research, spot opportunities, and act fast.

What You’ll Be Doing

Trend Discovery & Market Insights: Constantly research social media trends, viral content, and cultural moments in Southern Africa.
News & Pop Culture Monitoring: Stay on top of regional news, events, and pop culture to help brands engage in real-time.
Creative Ideation: Use trend insights to develop fresh, engaging content ideas tailored to the region.
Content Development: Work with our creative team to bring ideas to life through visuals, copy, and social-first activations.
Platform Management & Strategy: Shape content strategies for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter, ensuring engagement and cultural relevance.
Performance & Analytics: Track what’s working and optimize based on data-driven insights.
Programmatic & Paid Social (Bonus): Some knowledge of audience targeting and digital advertising is a plus.

🎯 Adaptability & Fast Execution: You can jump on trends quickly while keeping messaging authentic and engaging.
🎯 Market Awareness: You don’t need to be an expert in the region, but you know how to research and analyze what’s relevant.
🎯 Content & Design Understanding: Experience working with content creation tools (Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
🎯 Strong Communication & English Fluency.
🎯 Global Perspective: If you have experience working in non-EU markets, that’s a strong advantage.
