As a Junior Complaints Officer, you will manage complaints in line with regulatory guidelines and the company’s policy. Your responsibilities include handling, investigating, and resolving customer complaints within set timeframes, as well as obtaining necessary information from other departments. You will present detailed summaries of complaints to the Head of the Department and Management, negotiate suitable resolutions with customers, ensure written official replies are provided, and generate complaints-related reports as requested.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing complaints in accordance with regulatory guidelines and complaints handling policy of the Company;
  • Responsible for handling, and resolving customers’ complaints within given timeframes;
  • Obtaining necessary information/updates from other departments regarding the resolution of the complaints;
  • Investigating client issues related to trading accounts, transaction discrepancies, and fund losses;
  • Identifying patterns in complaints and suggesting process improvements to reduce future issues;
  • Communicating with regulatory bodies regarding complaints and resolutions;
  • Proposing and negotiating compensation or goodwill offers for affected clients based on company policies;
  • Keep detailed records of complaints and actions taken;
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies regarding complaints and resolutions;
  • Providing complaints-related reports as requested.

Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience in handling Complaints in the Financial Industry will be considered as an advantage;
  • University or College Degree in Law or previously working as a Legal Secretary;
  • Excellent judgment and orientation;
  • Ability in delivering solutions quickly, efficiently and with accuracy;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Team player and collaborative nature;
  • Ability to work well under pressure.

Skills and Competencies

  • Fluency in English Language;
  • Good knowledge of any other language will be considered as an advantage;
  • Negotiation and problem-solving skills;
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
