POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our team for our a la carte restaurant. This role is responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and efficiency. The Chef de Partie plays a crucial role in maintaining kitchen organization, supervising junior staff, and collaborating with the Head Chef to uphold consistency in every dish.

The ideal candidate is highly skilled, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment while adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and oversee a designated kitchen section, ensuring efficient and high-quality food preparation.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Follow recipes and plating standards to ensure consistency in presentation and taste.
  • Monitor stock levels in the section, ensuring proper storage and minimizing waste.
  • Maintain strict portion control and cost efficiency while upholding food quality.
  • Keep all workstations and equipment clean, organized, and fully functional.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and health regulations at all times.
  • Assist the Head Chef in developing new dishes and improving kitchen efficiency.
  • Take initiative in solving kitchen challenges and maintaining a positive team environment.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by the Head Chef, Sous Chef, or General Manager.
  • Adhere to the hotel’s Integrated Management System (IMS) procedures and safe working guidelines.

  • Attention to detail – ensuring consistency and high presentation standards.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Health Certificates: A valid health certificate is required upon employment.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
  • Academic Qualifications: Lyceum Certificate or a recognized Hotel & Catering School Certificate.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English or Greek is required.
