Compliance Assistant

Our company currently seeks to recruit a dynamic individual for the position of Compliance Assistance to join our team in Limassol.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Draft relevant compliance policies and procedures and monitor their practical implementation by the relevant departments.
- Review, approve and/or monitor communications and information to Clients
- Keep abreast with new legislation and regulation updates, and report in summary form such updates to the Head of Compliance
- Conduct internal compliance audits and report relevant monitoring findings and recommendations for correction of any deficiencies to the Head of Compliance
- Assist in the handling of client complaints and/or monitor the handling of client complaints.
- Liaise with internal/external auditors and CySec on AML related matters
- Prepare and submit reports to the board of Directors
- Conduct KYC verification process for corporate clients and counterparties
- Conduct compliance monitoring of Clients & third parties
- Conduct compliance transaction monitoring of Clients
- Undertake other compliance duties as requested by the Head of Compliance.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- University Degree in law, business, finance, economic or related field
- Experience within compliance will be considered an advantage.
- Holder of CySEC certification
- Holder of CySEC AML Certificate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
- High Attention to detail
- Must be able to adapt to working in a fast-paced environment
