We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Information Officer (CIO) with proven experience in coding and technology development. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience as a CIO or CTO, demonstrating strong project and management skills, task-oriented leadership, and exceptional people management abilities. This role will be responsible for driving the company’s technology strategy, ensuring the efficient execution of IT initiatives, and leading teams to deliver innovative solutions that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy & Development

• Define and execute the company’s technology roadmap, aligning IT initiatives with business goals.

• Oversee software development, architecture, and infrastructure, ensuring scalable and secure solutions.

• Maintain hands-on involvement in code development and review, guiding engineering teams in best practices.

• Stay ahead of emerging technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

Project & IT Management

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects with a focus on efficiency, timelines, and budget.

• Implement and maintain agile development methodologies for continuous improvement and fast delivery.

• Ensure IT systems are reliable, secure, and optimized to support business operations.

• Oversee cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance with industry standards.

People & Team Leadership

• Manage and mentor cross-functional technology teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

• Drive team performance, professional development, and talent retention.

• Work closely with business stakeholders to translate business needs into technology solutions.

• Build strong relationships with vendors, partners, and internal departments to ensure smooth IT operations.

Operational & Business Alignment

• Collaborate with the executive team to align IT initiatives with company strategy.

• Identify opportunities to leverage technology for process automation, cost savings, and efficiency.

• Ensure IT investments deliver measurable ROI and business impact.

• Oversee budgeting and cost control for IT infrastructure and projects.

Key Requirements:

Experience & Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a CIO or CTO in a technology-driven organisation.

• Strong background in coding, software development, and technology architecture.

• Expertise in project management, agile methodologies, and IT operations.

• Proven ability to lead and manage large technology teams effectively.

• Experience in cloud computing, cybersecurity, AI/ML, and enterprise systems is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, AWS, or CISSP (preferred but not mandatory).
