CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established and expanding Law Firm with offices in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Corporate Lawyer to join their growing team. The successful applicant will need to be a member of the Cyprus Bar Association and possess approximately 3+ years of post-qualification experience in Corporate Law. As part of your role you will draft and review various corporate and commercial agreements on behalf of clients, as well as reviewing contracts, resolutions, power of attorneys, and other relevant legal documents related to the department. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek & English are essential. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience, and working hours are from 09:00 - 14.00 & 15.00 - 18.00.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage matters regarding the incorporation of companies and corporate governance.
- Handle various aspects of corporate transactions.
- Prepare and review contracts, resolutions, power of attorneys, and other relevant legal documents related to the department.
- Advice on corporate and commercial law matters.
- Maintain up to date knowledge in regards to the laws and regulations of Cyprus.
- Communicate with the Registrar of Companies, opening of bank accounts, and other relevant authorities.
- Coordinate and perform regulatory filings, procedures, and legal opinions.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Educated to degree level in Law or a related field.
- Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
- Approximately 3+ years of experience in Corporate Law is essential.
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with associates and clients.
- Ability to work autonomously and independently.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- High sense of confidentiality.
- Ability to remain calm and composed during times of uncertainty.
- Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information.
