CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a dynamic international Group of Companies with diverse business interests and investments including Real Estate, we are seeking to recruit an International Office Set-Up Coordinator to join their growing team based in Cyprus. In this key role, you will lead the establishment of new offices across Europe and around the world. Working closely with key stakeholders, you’ll navigate market research and coordinate all logistics to set up vibrant, functional office spaces in prime locations. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field, who possess proven experience in office expansion, facilities management, and an understanding of construction processes, ideally within the European market or globally. Extensive, and prolonged international travel is essential as part of this role, and an attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, based on skills and experience. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify ideal office locations.
- Ensure that selected sites are in vibrant, accessible, and business-friendly areas that support both brand and operational needs.
- Engage with property owners, real estate agents, and leasing agents to negotiate favourable lease terms.
- Collaborate with architects and contractors to create functional, stylish, and innovative office environments.
- Build and maintain relationships with local vendors and service providers, including IT support teams, furniture suppliers, and maintenance services.
- Develop and oversee the budget for each office setup project, ensuring all costs align with company financial goals.
- Ensure that all office setups comply with local building health and safety regulations, and other legal requirements.
- Develop detailed project plans, establishing clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Work closely with HR, IT, Legal, and other departments to ensure that all team requirements are met in new office spaces, including technology, safety protocols, and legal obligations.
- Support the integration of office culture by ensuring that each new office reflects the company’s values, fosters collaboration, and nurtures the company’s principles in a global context.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field.
- Proven experience in office expansion, facilities management, and an understanding of construction processes, ideally within the European market or globally.
- Strong negotiation skills with proven experience in securing lease agreements and managing vendor contracts.
- Excellent project management abilities with a demonstrated track record of overseeing multi-faceted projects from inception to completion.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work across various cultures, embracing the adventure of setting up new offices and expanding the global footprint.
