On behalf of a client, we are currently looking for an experienced Group Maintenance Manager to take full responsibility for the building maintenance, technical operations, and infrastructure across a Group of hotels.

Objective
This individual will be a key player in ensuring that all hotels are operating at optimal efficiency, with a focus on safety, quality, and guest satisfaction.

Position's Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the technical operations for all hotel properties, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), fire safety, and other building systems.
  • Ensure that all building maintenance work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Oversee a team of maintenance staff across multiple hotel locations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations. Act as the point of contact for all technical problems and emergencies.
  • Develop and manage the technical maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented while maintaining high-quality standards for all properties.
  • Implement and monitor preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity of equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure all facilities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental policies. Maintain records for inspections, permits, and safety certifications.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring timely completion of projects and adherence to service agreements.
  • Lead and mentor the hotel’s technical team, providing training and support as needed. Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Maintain accurate technical records, including maintenance logs, inspections, repairs, and upgrades. Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of building systems and any ongoing or potential issues.
  • Identify opportunities for energy efficiency, sustainability, and environmentally friendly practices within the hotel's technical operations.

Position’s Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or any other related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical operations and facilities management, ideally in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety, etc.) and technical troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience in managing maintenance teams and vendor relationships.
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with senior management and external vendors.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies promptly.
  • Knowledge of building regulations and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with hotel operations and the unique technical requirements of the hospitality industry is a plus.


Salary range: €40,000 - €45,000 gross annually
