This is a key role within Vubiquity’s Planning & Editorial team. You will be building, generating and maintaining detailed VOD schedules for Vubiquity’s content services across its international portfolio.
The position entails a love of TV & Movies, a knowledge of VOD and the digital marketplace, and experience using content management systems in a media environment would be an advantage.
The Movie & TV scheduling created and maintained by this position will drive the Operational workflow for the rest of the business and therefore requires a meticulous eye for detail with a real understanding of processes within a media environment.
Working closely with other areas within the Operations team as well as Content Acquisitions, Editorial, Finance, Research and Marketing departments - this role is responsible for owning and communicating the detailed content schedules to internal and external customers.
Maintaining strong relationships with relevant suppliers from both a selection & licensing perspective, this position takes a central role in the output to our Licensed Content customers.
What will your job look like?

Creates, manages & develops VOD programme schedules for Vubiquity’s international VOD, SVOD, EST & FAST services (where relevant per affiliate).

Responsible for lifecycle management of licensed content, ensuring programme schedule output meets specific contractual supplier and platform requirements including agreed refresh, volume, content quality and delivery dates.

Recommends & justifies content selections for new or existing content propositions.

A particular focus on selecting and programming Movie & TV content and related marketing campaigns is required for this role.

Key Client contact for all matters pertaining to schedule output, also to external Studios & content suppliers.

Implements the content scheduling of VOD and EST content propositions across new regional deployments.

Involvement in projects as directed by manager to implement or assess new systems or workflows in the department as may be required by the business.

Selecting and planning themed content for multiple services as required.

Reporting and management of quality issues through to resolution, escalating where necessary.

Attending account status and review meetings with content suppliers and clients.

Research and analysis of new service opportunities that may add value to the service line-up.

Working with key Vubiquity departments on platform expansions and new project proposals.
All you need is...

Experience operating in a digital content environment and have a proven track record in setting and maintaining high attention to detail with key data including dates and pricing.

An advanced knowledge of Excel is a must – including proficiency of ‘VLookUps’ as a requirement for the role.

A high standard of written and spoken English.

An operational mind, with ability to quickly understand and operate within new systems and technologies.

A passion for digital content and editorial excellence as well as an extensive knowledge of the Movie and TV market.

Proven track record in establishing and maintaining excellent client relationships.

Strong people skills required as this role deals with a variety of departments, suppliers and affiliates in different locations and different levels of seniority.
