CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly respected provider of Corporate Services including Tax, VAT & Accounting to both local and international clients, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Tax Associate to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will handle a variety of tax-related tasks on behalf of clients, including undertaking tax compliance related tasks, assisting with the preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation, and more! Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally either Part or Full Qualified ACA/ACCA, who possess at least 1+ year of previous experience in a tax-related role. Holders of the Advanced Diploma of International Taxation (ADIT) are encouraged to apply, and fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English is a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Undertaking tax compliance related tasks under the supervision of more senior members of the tax department.
- Preparation of tax computations and tax returns, preparation of provisional tax workings, and tax audits etc...
- Assisting in the preparation of Transfer Pricing documentations.
- Undertaking tax advisory services under the supervisions and/or guidance of more senior members of the tax department.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy & Finance or other related field.
- ACA/ACCA qualified or partly qualified will be considered as advantage.
- Advance Diploma of International Taxation (‘ADIT’) qualified will be considered as advantage.
- 1+ years of previous experience in Tax is required.
- Knowledge of the Cyprus Tax Laws and Circulars is desirable.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and also individually.
- Professionalism, dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
