Job Description Details

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival and provide a brief introduction to our winery and wine offerings.
• Acquires and maintains thorough knowledge of winery and our wines.
• Maintain a clean and organized tasting room and ensure that all guests receive prompt and attentive service.
• Be able to manage and maintain stock and inventory of wines in the tasting room.
• Able to perform quality of work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• General cleanliness of the standing and seating areas.
• Answers visitor questions and able to provide general tourist information.
• Open to working other special events when needed.
• May be assigned other tasks or be asked to participate in other activities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and / or qualified experience required.
• Educated to at least WST Level2 or equivalent (will be considered as an advantage).
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Verbal communication, customer service, resolving conflict, teamwork, selling to customer needs, professionalism, client relationship building.
• Warm and friendly, outgoing and trustworthy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to attend training sessions when required.
• Passion for wine and the wine industry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
