CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Auditor to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Junior Auditor you will be responsible for assisting with audit engagements on behalf of a range of clients, with the full support and supervision of more experienced team members. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, who possess at least 1+ year of proven experience in the Audit field. You will need to have basic knowledge of IFRS and ISAs, and candidates working towards either the ACA or ACCA qualification are encouraged to apply. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Carrying out simple to medium level audit engagements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing with the right support and supervision.
• Ensuring work is prepared in accordance with the Firm’s methodology and standards.
• Assisting with the preparation of Statutory Financial Statements.
• Communicate with clients and assist with required documentation.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 1+ years of audit experience.
• Applicants working towards the ACA/ACCA qualification are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of IFRS and ISAs, with a willingness to develop further.
• Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Attention to detail and results oriented.
• Diligent, methodical, devoted and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
