CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established provider of Audit & Accounting Services to a diverse portfolio of both local and international clients, we are seeking to recruit an Auditor to join their growing team based in Latsia, Nicosia. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out audit assignments in accordance with the firm’s methodology, as well as preparing financial statements in accordance with professional standards. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, who possess approximately 2+ years of relevant experience in the audit field, and are in the process of obtaining a professional qualification i.e. ACCA. Fluency in Greek & English is a must, as well as knowledge of MS Office applications and Caseware accounting software. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Preparation of audit assignments in accordance with the firm’s methodology.
• Preparation of financial statements in accordance with professional standards.
• Ensure that work is executed within the set deadlines.
• Reporting work to more senior staff.
• Provide managers with regular updates regarding the progress of work.
• Continuously improve expertise in auditing standars, IFRSs, Companies Law and Taxation.
• Undertake additional job-related responsibilities as required.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance or related field.
• Approximately 2+ years of experience in the audit field is essential.
• Candidates should be in the process of obtaining a professional qualification i.e. ACCA.
• Be up to date with IFRS’s and ISA’s.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Caseware programs.
• Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages (written and spoken).
