We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting routine accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Daily posting of purchasing invoices.
• Maintaining accounts payable and ensuring timely payments.
• Conducting weekly vendor reconciliation to resolve discrepancies.
• Daily communication with external vendors to address inquiries and issues.
• Assisting with routine accounting duties, such as maintaining ledgers and documenting financial transactions.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of Cypriot tax regulations and accounting practices is a plus
