What the job looks like?

The Compliance Officer will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop, implement, and manage the company’s compliance program.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to CySEC and other supervisory authorities on a timely basis.
  • Prepare and submit reports to the management and the Board of Directors.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and communicate these to relevant stakeholders.
  • Draft, review, and update compliance policies and procedures to reflect changes in laws and regulations.
  • Identify and address compliance issues proactively.
  • Maintain records of audits, investigations, and compliance activities.
  • Identify potential areas of compliance risk and develop mitigation strategies or corrective action plans to address any deficiencies.
  • Monitor and report on compliance risks to the Head of Compliance & AML.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees.
  • Ensure ongoing awareness of regulatory requirements within the organization.
  • Ensure accurate and secure record-keeping of compliance-related activities

What will you need to be able to do the job?

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business management, or a related field.
  • Highly-analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and understand the firm and regulators’ rules and policies as well as familiarity with other competitors.
  • Ability to manage tasks and activities in a timely manner and be responsible for specific outcomes.
  • Solid understanding of relevant firm business.
  • Excellent working knowledge of computers and common software packages (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) including analytical tools.
  • Approximately 3+ years related experience.
  • Experience with CASS calculations.
