CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding company offering single wallet white label Casino & Sports solutions via Mobile, Tablet and PC to clients across the world, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Finance Officer to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out bank, supplier, and client account reconciliations as well as reconciliations between back-office and Payment Service Providers. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field and any previous experience in a similar position will be considered an advantage. You will need to possess solid knowledge of MS Excel including formulas and formatting, and any knowledge of the SAP Accounting software system is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 09:00 – 17:00.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Carry out bank, supplier, and client account reconciliations.
- Carry out reconciliations between back-office and Payment Service Providers.
- Deal with customers and service providers in relation to payment issues.
- Preparing monthly revenue reports to be sent to partners and maintaining/updating the status of each partner.
- Executing the necessary actions in the Back-Office platform upon relevant training and guidance.
- Other accounting related functions as required by the Group and ad-hoc report preparations.
Key Skills/Experience:
- A degree relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any other relevant field is desirable, but not essential.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language both written and verbal.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and formatting.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage effectively, in an accurate manner, a lot of tasks running at the same time.
- Accounting software program system (SAP software system) is considered an advantage.
- Experience in a similar position/industry is considered an advantage.
- Good accounting knowledge is a must.
- Any experience in a platform-based company is considered as an advantage.
- Ability to take thoughtful initiative, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Able to work freely in Cyprus (No Work Permits).
