The Independence Team of the Quality, Risk, Security (QRS) Department of Deloitte Middle East & Cyprus is seeking to recruit a dynamic and high caliber professional to join the team at the level of Experienced Associate to Senior, in our Nicosia or Limassol offices.

The Team
The Quality, Risk, Security (QRS) Department is handling matters pertaining to Compliance; Regulatory; Anti-Money Laundering (AML); Ethics; Anti-Corruption; Independence and Risk Management for the entire Deloitte Middle East & Cyprus region. This is a unique opportunity to engage in cross-border collaboration with Deloitte professionals across the Deloitte network, broadening your knowledge and building your competencies and skills.
The Role
The successful candidate’s key responsibilities include the following:

Provide business support in relation to matters pertaining to audit independence (at a firm level) and regulatory requirements.

Work closely with client service teams across the firm.
-
Provide technical independence advice and guidance to the business including analyzing and interpreting the firm’s independence policies against specific client engagement team queries.

Working with audit bid as well as non-audit teams, assisting them in their analysis of non-audit services and business relationship under the relevant independence rules.

Perform internal monitoring procedures, evaluating findings arising from the latter, analyzing their root cause analysis, and design, implement and test the effectiveness of any remedial actions required.
Requirements
-
Undergraduate degree from a reputable University in Business Administration or related fields.

2 – 4 years of experience in the Audit profession.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.

Ability to work as part of a team with professionals at all levels.
-
Strong attention to detail.
-
Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written.

Strong computer literacy.
